Our beef is pasture raised and considered to be Prime, although our cows are not graded as the closest facility is in PA (we believe that the transport is too stressful for our cows to endure). Our lambs are raised wild on an island in Penobscot Bay and our pigs are heritage Berkshires pasture raised in Freeport. Each of our roasts are hand-cut and tied by our highly skilled butchers with the care and attention you’ve grown to expect from Maine Meat.
